  • Mobile Pay: utilize your device’s payment app to easily make purchases on the go.
  • ATM Access: enjoy access to all Providence Bank & Trust ATMs as well as ATMs within the Allpoint Network1.

To access debit card controls:

  • Simply log in to Online or Mobile Banking2
  • Click on “Menu”
  • Then click on “Manage Cards” to edit your debit card features

Real-Time Transaction Alerts

With this beneficial fraud prevention tool to help keep your account(s) secure, enable alerts to receive instant notification sent by text or email each time your debit card is used.

  • Real-Time Transaction Alerts help keep your account(s) secure. If you receive a transaction alert for an unfamiliar purchase, turn off your debit card in digital banking and contact the bank immediately at 888-923-5664.
  • If Providence Bank & Trust suspects fraud on your account(s), we will continue to contact you via phone call.  The Bank will not text you to verify if a transaction is legitimate.  To learn more about fraud prevention and protection, visit our Fraud Protection page.

 

Card On/Off

Easily control your debit card with the ability to turn on and off your card. Turn on for everyday purchases and turn off when not in use or if you misplace or lose your card.

If you misplace or lose your card, contact us as soon as possible by calling:

  • 888-923-5664 during regular business hours
  • 888-407-2265 anytime with our Bank by Phone – choose option 4

Travel Notifications

Planning to travel? Log in to Online or Mobile Banking to manage your debit card and ensure uninterrupted access to your funds.  You can easily enter travel locations and dates in the Manage Card section of digital banking.

  • By providing details of your travel plans, you help us monitor your transactions effectively, so legitimate transactions are not flagged as suspected fraudulent activity when you are out of town.

 

Activate Debit Card & Change PIN

Activate your NEW Providence Bank & Trust debit card and begin making purchases anywhere Visa® is accepted. Visit the Manage Card section in digital banking and click on “Activate Your New Card” once your debit card is received in the mail.

Need to change your debit card PIN?  In the Manage Card section in digital banking, choose the card you wish to update and then choose “Change PIN”.

1 Providence Bank & Trust does not charge an ATM service fee for transactions conducted at any Allpoint ATM or Providence Bank & Trust ATM. Any cash withdrawal, balance inquiry or transfer transaction conducted at a non-proprietary ATM (non-Allpoint or non-Providence Bank & Trust ATM) will be charged $2.00 per transaction. Within the Allpoint network, Allpoint+ deposit-enabled ATMs accept cash only deposits up to $1,000 per transaction. To confirm an ATM is part of the Allpoint network, and thus is surcharge-free, visit allpointnetwork.com. Filter options within the Allpoint ATM map locator allow identification of Allpoint+ cash deposit-enabled ATMs.

Mobile deposit, a feature within mobile banking, is available to consumers with no fee and is available to businesses with no fee for deposits up to $20,000 per business day. However, if a businesses’ mobile deposits exceed $20,000 per business day, a $25 fee per month will apply. In addition, your wireless carrier may charge you a fee for SMS (text) messaging and/or data usage, whichever is required for mobile banking. Other fees or restrictions may apply.

Debit cards will be considered inactive after a period of 12 months with no activity. For the security of your account, inactive debit cards may be closed.
